Pierce was ready when coach Doc Rivers called him to Boston Celtics’ 89-84 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday night.

Pierce reached 19 points for Boston lead six players in double figures as the Celtics held the Bobcats fourth quarter rally to win his eight games in a row.
